Michael Chekhov

Theatre makers in all over the world, even the most innovative directors and thinkers, have been demonstrating the power and efficacy of their art and teachings. Today it is virtually impossible to discuss modern acting, directing or theatre training without first mentioning the Stanislavsky’s contribution and those of his disciples. The like-minded questions, inquiries, interpretations, misconceptions and challenges of theatre training can be heard nonstop. Together they created a tradition that is inescapable and fundamental for anyone approaching the subject of theatre art.
